Littlejohn Guided Music Camp Thrives

7/2/2009
Scholar John Littlejohn, the driving force behind the Thrive City String Acadamy at Towsen University, reports that the summer school for young players is off to a rousing start. Quoting Mr. Littlejohn: "All the work and fighting to make this opportunity a reality (has paid off). I can't tell you how much of a blessing it is to be able to provide a FREE, overnight, high-quality music camp to kids who have never had an opportunity like this.

How are the kids?...They are having a ball! There have been many special moments already, but something great happened tonight. After a long day of intense lessons, rehearsals and seminars, the students had free time before "lights out." Instead of playing video games, talking, and hanging out (which we expected them to do), they chose to get together on their own and continue playing! I was blown away. They are so excited to be able to spend all of their time and energy on music."
