Scholar and cellist Juan Sebastian Delgado wins the Nicolas Finoli cello competition in Buenos Aires . 3/4/2009Scholar and cellist Juan Sebastian Delgado recently won the Nicolas Finoli cello competition in Buenos Aires performing the Cassado solo cello suite. Juan was a participant in the Il Latin America Cello Festival. As a result of his capturing the top prize he will be a soloist with an orchestra in Buenos Aires in the summer of 2009. Juan is a student of Rhonda Rider at The Boston Conservatory and plays on a contemporary American cello by David Caron.
